MOT Testing
An MOT test is a mandatory annual inspection in the UK that checks the safety, roadworthiness, and emissions of your vehicle. It is important to ensure your vehicle meets legal standards and to identify any issues that need addressing for safe driving.
An MOT test typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour. You can wait in our comfortable viewing area and watch the testing process if you like.
Tyre Services
We stock a wide range of high-quality tyres from leading brands such as Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Continental, and more.
Signs that you need new tyres include low tread depth (below the legal minimum of 1.6mm), visible cracks or bulges, uneven wear, punctures, and vibrations while driving.
Brake Services
Common signs that your brakes need servicing include squeaking or grinding noises, vibrations while braking, a soft or spongy pedal feel, warning lights on the dashboard, and longer stopping distances.
We recommend having your brakes checked at least once a year or during your regular vehicle servicing.
Air Conditioning Services
An air conditioning re-gas replenishes the refrigerant levels in your vehicle's air conditioning system, restoring its efficiency and ensuring it operates at the correct pressure.
We recommend having your air conditioning system serviced every 2 years to maintain its efficiency and performance.
Engine Diagnostics
Engine diagnostics involves using advanced diagnostic tools to read error codes and assess the performance of your vehicle's engine and related systems. This helps identify and resolve issues that may affect your vehicle's performance and safety.
Common signs include the check engine light on your dashboard, engine misfires, rough idling, loss of power, excessive fuel consumption, unusual noises, and failed emissions tests.
Suspension Repair
Signs of suspension problems include bouncing or swaying excessively, uneven tyre wear, difficulty steering, clunking or squeaking noises from the suspension system, and leaking shock absorbers.
We recommend having your suspension checked during your regular vehicle servicing or if you notice any of the signs mentioned above.
Vehicle Electrics
We can diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical issues, including problems with the battery, alternator, starter motor, sensors, lighting, windows, and more.
We use advanced diagnostic tools to connect to your vehicle's onboard computer systems, read error codes, and conduct detailed checks on sensors, wiring, and components.
Exhaust Repair
Signs that your exhaust system needs repair include increased noise levels, reduced fuel efficiency, unusual odours, visible damage or corrosion, and excessive smoke from the exhaust.
We offer exhaust repairs, replacement of components such as silencers and catalytic converters, exhaust diagnostics, and DPF cleaning and repairs for diesel vehicles.
